About the area

Situated in a quiet residential close, we welcome guests who enjoy peace, quiet and a country community.

The village of Wrentham straddles the A12 but High House is quietly tucked away from the main road. The village has a village stores with part time post office, a wine shop, a clothes/general hardware shop, a children’s playground, a cafe and a pub. Another country pub is less than a mile away on the edge of the village.

Wrentham lies less than two miles from the Suffolk coast at Covehithe. Small supermarkets and boutique shops are a short country road drive away in Southwold – a delightfully old fashioned bucket and spade resort. High House is in the perfect location to enjoy a country or seaside holiday.

Suffolk is a great county for bird watchers, cyclists and walkers . Boat, kyack and paddleboard hire nearby on our Suffolk rivers like the Waveney at Beccles and on the Broads. Plenty to enjoy right on your doorstep.Family attractions like Africa Alive, Framlingham and Orford Castles and Camel Park are within a short drive.
